the great thing about our temporary tattoos is that are that they are WATER BASED.....it means that if you are careful they will last nearly as long, as long as or sometimes longer than the air brush ones aprox 3-5 days. plus because they are water based you dont have to worry about any of those nasty PPDs that have been reported with use of some henna products, They are EU and FDA approved....but the REAL BEAUTY is that when you want or need to get them offa good scrub with some warm soapy water AND OFF THEY COME!

I hold a VCTC DIPLOMA IN THEATRICAL/ MEDIA MAKE-UP.

which enables me to provide a whole host of make up services, which means not only am I a face painter but I could provide you with a girly makeover for pamper parties, which may include hair braiding, make-up and nail art.

I can also provide a selection of stage, special fx, casualty photographic and catwalk makeup.

The makeup provided will be designed you compliment its subjects, for instance, for children i would use a very natural look so that they feel grown up but its not overdone, again for a wedding for instance you would want to compliment the colour scheme provided by the flowers and bridesmaids without overdoing the make-up itself and still leaving everything quite natural)

SPECIAL FX, HORROR, CASUALTY MAKEUP

WARNING some of these makeup effects particularly the casualty work look very realistic,please rest assured they are all done with make up and wax etc. These photos have been added so that you can access them so we can demonstrate some of the special fx and make up techniques that we are able to provide they would be used for a specific purpose or type of event,(e.g st johns ambulance practice work etc,film or tv, theatre) not necessarily (unless specifically requested eg a halloween event) for a general childrens face painting party or event.

the subject for the viking makeup is a 16 year old girl.. the techniques included in the transformation were ageing, gender change, scarring, and postiche(fake hair)

FAQ

Is it safe to use on infants?

Due to insurance restraints face painters cannot be insured to paint children under 3 years of age.
sometimes we may be able to put a small design on the back of a hand, however we will never paint an individual who does not seem to wish to be painted for obvious reasons.

How does the face paint come off?

With normal soap and water or your usual cleansing routine.

how many children can you paint?
depending on complexity of design and how still the child sits on average 1 every 5 mins.
If you are expecting a large number of children for an event for example we are happy to provide 2 or more face painters.
