- There is a limit not only to age but also the ammount of children aloud on the castle at one time.
- The castle is pegged down or sand bagged down when in use depending on its location.
- There are crash mats provided at the exit points of the bouncy castle so that if anyone does fall off they land on the matts provided.
We do advise that children should not be aloud to jump/roll as part off a game the front of the castle onto the crash matts provided, for 2 reasons
one because excessivly doing this may move the crash mats into a position that is not of optimum safety. And two, it increases the likelyhood especially if one or more children are doing this of injuries occuring due to children jumping or falling ontop of each other.
- There are no shoes aloud on the castle.
- There is no food, drink, party poppers or foreign substances aloud on the castle at any time.
- The castle was bought as new and has a full safety check certificate.
- The castle is checked and cleaned regularly after each use.
- The castle has its own ground mats to protect it from sharp objects and therefore puncturing whilst in use.
- THIS CASTLE IS TO BE USED BY CHILDREN 14 AND UNDER, NOT ADULTS !!
Once set up the safe operation is your responsibility, as the proprietors shall not be
Held responsible fo any accidents / injuries or loss of or damage to the castle, the venue, and or any and all person/s or their property however caused for the duration of the castles hire.Unless otherwise stated and hired with company supervision.(In other words if we are hired to supervise it its our responsibility but if you choose to supervise it yourself its yours)
- guidelines for safe operation of inflatable castles.
1. A responsible adult should be on hand at all times to supervise children and keep the front of the castle clear.
2. There should be a seperate bouncing session for different age groups.
3. Shoes must be removed, along with hard,sharp or dangerious objects. Spectacles are best removed.
4. Nobody must be allowed to climb or hang on the walls of the castle or bounce on the front step.
5. Do not overload the castle.
6. You should limit the number of users to approximatly 6 children on a 10ft or 12ft castle and approximatley 8 children on a 15ft castle this should allow each child enough room to play safely.
7. In wet conditions the castle may become slippery.
8. It is not recomended that electric blowers are used in wet conditions, however the operator may use the blower if the conditions are not to bad provided the RCD circuit breaker provided is used.
9. Do not switch the electric blower on and off while the castle is in use. If the castle fails for any reason it should be evacuated immediately to prevent injury and possible damage to the equipment.
10. Occasionally check that the castle is still securely tied and pegged down.
11. If missuse or neglect causes damage the controller will be liable for full repair.
12. No food, drink or cigarettes to be taken into the castle. No silly string to be sprayed in the castle.
13. Persons under the influence of drink or drugs should not be allowed to use the equipment.
14. If the castle is dirty when collected, an additional payment of up to £50 may be requested.
15. No party poppers to be used in wet conditions, as these stain the castle.
- Although this bouncy castle is covered by its own public liabilities insurance, fun faces cannot be held responsible for the safe operation of a castle it is not personally supervising.
Therefore Once we have ensured that the castle is set up safely and correctly it is then your responsibility. Unless you have arrange for the additional supervision by a member of our staff.
- We as the proprietors shall not be Held responsible for any accidents / injuries or loss of or damage to the castle, the venue, and or any and all person/s or their property however caused for the duration of the castles hire, unless the castle is supervised by a member of staff which can be arranged for the additional fee of 35.00
If this is the case we may limit the amount of children aloud on the castle at any one time, We will at all times endeavour to make the castle a safe and fun place for all we will encourage children to play nicely and discourage rowdy behaviour , fighting or any other practices that may be deemed unsafe and if absolutely necessary remove the child or children involved for safety reasons. however we are not registered child minders therefore If the castle has been hired with staff supervision for a birthday party fun day, corporate or other event although we will be responsible for its safe operation we will always ask that a parent or guardian or someone responsible for the children using the castle remain with the child or children while using the castle so that if a minor accident occurs or we need to remove a child or children for safety reasons they are on hand to do so.
If hired unsupervised and as part of a party package the supervising member of staff would be additional/ separate to any members of staff participating in additional party events, we will endeavour to organise the events so that the castle is being used correctly but supervision/ safe operation of the castle would still remain the responsibility of the hirer.

We will be responsible for sending you a castle and blower that is in good working order & making sure the castle is set up safely and securley,in the most suitable area to ensure its safety and that of its users and the venue. if when we arrive for whatever reason when we are unable to this, we will not set it up and a refund or alternative compensation will be offered, we will never leave a castle unless we are sure that it is set up correctly and most importantly safely.
we will also make sure that you as the hirers understand how to operate the castle safely before we leave you to enjoy your event and if at any point you need to contact us during the period of hire simply ring one of the contact numbers and someone will be on hand to help.
This will be carried out at all times wether the castle is hired supervised or unsupervised.
However if you decide to hire it "unsupervised" essentially we cannot take resposiblity for what happens while we are not there to supervise it.
UNSUPERVISED CASTLES AND PARTY PACKAGES;
Even if a member of staff is there doing other party activities it is impossible to have one eye on the pot and the other up the chimney as it were, which is why supervision still remains your responsibility.
If we are there we will do our best to structure activities to help with the safe use of the castle however you just cant do everything not safely and at the same time which is why we state that a supervised castle has a member of staff to do just that activity i.e supervise the castle and its use.In which case if the castle was being supervised by a staff member if anything arose while under our supervision that was down to our negligence then that would be our fault, but we are always very careful to ensure that the castle is safe and that the children are using it in a fun way but also a safe one.
SUPERVISED OR UN-SUPERVISED;
We ask you to appreciate although rare that small accidents can happen with a bouncy castle (and we always carry a first aid kit which is thankfully very full as up to yet we have never had to use it) which is one of the reasons we also ask even when supervising that a responsible adult be there to attend to any incidents that may arise or to but only if absolutly necessary remove or back up any instructions given to any children that may be using the castle in an unsafe manner after they have been requested not to by a member of staff.( a responsible adult may mean someone organising or attending a party or if at a fete or funday the childs parent or guardian for example)
TO FINISH;
when bouncing is involved it is always possible that you could get a collision but please rest assured that supervised or unsupervised it is very rare that any accident's/problem's arise with the castle if it is used correctly. Not only that the kids just love it, little competes with a good bounce.and the above instructions/guidelines are there to help highlight that we are a responsible company that not only want your children to have a fantastic time but we want them to do that in a safe way which is why when you hire us you know that we have taken the safety of our equipment very seriously and that you are getting a service/product that is not only reliable but as safe as we can make it.
